(NEW)  Theater/ Dramatic Arts

Acting Technique

Focus will be on cold reading and audition techniques, scene study, improvisation, character development, monologues and much more.  This class will promote proper diction and confidence, while teaching basic acting skills.

Audition Technique

Class will focus on auditioning technique as well as the selection of appropriate audition pieces.  Focus will be on the dos and don’ts of auditioning as well as expert monologue coaching and song preparation.  This class is perfect for all levels of auditioning, from school shows and college prep to Broadway.

Musical Theater

Class incorporates elements of dance, acting, and voice.  Students will learn stage direction, blocking, and skills necessary for musical theater.

Broadway Babes and Boys  (Ages 4-11)

Combination of basic ballet, tap and jazz technique, consisting of a warm up and small dance combinations.  This class promotes strong healthy bodies that contribute to the building of good posture, poise, and flexibility.

Broadway Guys and Dolls  (Ages 12 and up)

Combination of ballet, tap and jazz technique, consisting of a warm up and small dance combinations.  This class promotes strong healthy bodies that contribute to the building of posture, poise, and flexibility.

(New) READING COMES ALIVE WITH YOGA

In this yoga class, we use poses and movement to enhance reading skills by adding kinesthetic, auditory, and vision components, which enhances story retention, sequencing, characterization and dialogue. YogaKids integrates language, arts, music, science, storytelling and more to engage the “whole child”. This class is about having children enjoy the many benefits of yoga in fun and playful ways. The YogaKids practice develops strong and healthy bodies, fosters creative expression and imagination, increases focus and attention span, helps to cope with life stressors more effectively, and develops a sense of awareness and respect for oneself, others and the world around.

Zorayda Cocchi is a Certified YogaKids Teacher and a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of pediatric experience.

Two class times available: classes are 10 weeks starting on May 25th

We will provide a calendar the first day of class.

(Ages 7 and up on Wednesdays from 1-2:30pm)

Promoting our children’s creativity is the best gift we can give them.

Students receive a plain piece and they watch it come to life as they apply all the colors and details.

Whether it is a bank for themselves or a birthday present for mom or dad, they can say I did it myself.

Preschool Lessons:

(Two class levels 3-4yr and 4-5yr)
($45.00 per week)
These lessons are for preschool age children not currently enrolled in a full preschool program.

These one hour lessons are going to be jam packed with fun educational games and activities to promote the child’s cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.

Focus will revolve around phonics, early reading, and, math skills.

Classes meet for one hour, 3 times a week.

3-4 year olds 9am Monday, Wednesday, Friday
4-5 year olds 10:05 am Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Japanese Lessons!

(All Japanese lessons are $50.00)

This course is good for anyone with an interest in Japanese culture.
